RV Park Rules and Policies
Our Good Neighbor Policy is designed to keep Hide-A-Way Harbor Mobile Home and RV Park clean, safe, peaceful, and enjoyable for guests and residents.
Policy version: 2026-08-26.2
Please read before you arrive
These are the current RV-area rules supplied by park management. They apply in addition to the Website and Reservation Terms and any reservation confirmation, registration card, or written agreement that applies to your stay. Full-time RV residents and manufactured-home residents also sign separate lease documents.
The version number above identifies the rules currently presented by this website. Please contact the park before booking if a rule is unclear or if two written documents appear inconsistent.
Arrival, departure, visitors, and occupants
- Check-in begins at 1:00 p.m. Checkout is by 12:00 p.m.
- Guests arriving after 8:00 p.m. or after dark, whichever occurs first, may be asked to park in the designated parking area until staff can safely guide the RV to its site the next morning.
- All visitors must check in at the office and follow park rules. No more than four visitors are permitted at one time.
- Rates are based on two occupants. Visitor facility use and additional occupants are subject to the current charges below.
- Children younger than 12 must be accompanied by an adult in common areas.
Current visitor and additional-occupant charges: Visitors using park facilities are $6 per person, per day. Rates are based on two occupants; each additional occupant is $6 per day or $180 per month.
Pets and animals
- Maximum two pets per site; each pet must weigh 25 pounds or less. Tell management about every pet before using park facilities.
- Dogs must remain on a leash no longer than six feet and under an adult’s control. Cats may not roam freely. Pets may not be left outdoors unsupervised.
- Clean up pet waste immediately and place it in a bag for disposal.
- Pets must display current vaccination tags. Excessive barking, aggressive behavior, and feeding wild or stray animals are prohibited.
- Ordinary pets with aggressive behavior or a bite or attack history are not accepted. Guests are responsible for their animals and may be asked for proof of liability coverage.
Current ordinary-pet charges: An unauthorized ordinary pet may incur a $100 charge. A $25 charge may be assessed for each occurrence of improper pet-waste cleanup. Disability-related animal accommodation requests are handled separately in accordance with applicable law.
Service-animal and assistance-animal requests are handled in accordance with applicable law. Contact management privately before arrival if you need an accommodation or clarification.
Courtesy, quiet hours, and safety
- Quiet hours are 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Generators, fireworks, and loud music are not permitted.
- Respect other guests’ privacy. Profane, abusive, harassing, or threatening language or conduct toward park personnel or other guests is prohibited.
- Illegal drugs are prohibited. Weapons must be kept in compliance with applicable law, and firearms may not be discharged or used in the park.
- No smoking in or around park buildings. The speed limit is 3.5 mph.
- Report a safety concern to the office. For an immediate emergency, call 911.
Vehicles, RVs, trailers, and parking
- One RV and one passenger vehicle are allowed per site. A second vehicle requires advance management approval and available space.
- Use RV leveling equipment with blocks or boards to distribute weight and prevent ground pitting or rutting.
- Utility and car trailers must use assigned parking. An additional fee may apply.
- Do not park on grass or on an adjacent or vacant site.
- Vehicle repairs or maintenance require management approval.
- Subletting or renting an RV requires management approval.
Sewer and site care
- Use a threaded connector or rubber donut sewer-hose seal and RV toilet paper.
- Do not place wipes, feminine products, grease or fats, diapers, cat litter, paper towels, hazardous substances, syringes, or plastics into the sewer system.
- Keep the site neat. Bag trash and place it in the dumpster. Dispose of hazardous materials properly.
- Outdoor refrigerators, freezers, and tire storage are prohibited.
- Long-term outdoor rugs may be no larger than 2 by 3 feet. A larger rug may be used briefly but must be stored off the ground after use.
- Sheds, porches, decks, tents, tarps, utility buildings, and RV skirting require management approval.
Grills, firepits, laundry, and shared facilities
- Gas and charcoal grills are permitted. Contained portable firepits or chimineas may be allowed at management’s discretion and must remain attended.
- Clotheslines and outdoor laundry are prohibited. Do not wash pet bedding, comforters, or other heavy items in the park laundry.
- Clean the fish-cleaning station after every use.
- No peddling, solicitation, business enterprise, or signs advertising products or services.
- Leave shared facilities as you would like to find them and notify the office when something needs attention.
Electricity, charges, and damages
- Monthly site rates do not include electricity. Electricity is also separate for 50-amp RVs on biweekly and triweekly rates.
- For stays billed by meter, management records the meter at arrival and departure. Usage is billed at the park’s pass-through local utility rate.
- Guests and visitors are responsible for the repair or replacement cost of park property, landscaping, or equipment they willfully or negligently damage.
Resident lot care
Management provides limited bulk mowing of larger areas around resident homes as a courtesy. Residents remain responsible for the overall maintenance, cleanliness, mowing, trimming, and landscaping of their lot.
Residents using the bulk-mowing service must remove furniture and other obstacles so the riding mower can pass safely. The service does not include edging or trimming around resident-owned items. A resident whose site cannot be serviced safely or efficiently may be required to assume all mowing and landscaping responsibility.
Cancellations and refunds
The complete cancellation and refund terms for the selected stay must be provided in writing before payment. Contact the park before booking if those terms are missing or unclear.
Enforcement and policy updates
Management may refuse service, deny access, or end a stay for a material rule violation, dangerous or unlawful conduct, nonpayment, willful damage, or conduct that substantially interferes with others, in accordance with applicable law and the written agreement that governs the stay.
Secure your personal property and use park facilities responsibly. Nothing on this page limits a right or responsibility that cannot lawfully be limited. Management may update these rules as operations or legal requirements change; the dated version on this website is the current public version.
