Short-term RV sites and reservations

Can I search for a short-term RV site online?

Yes. The website reservation search is the authoritative short-stay availability source after approved live inventory is loaded. Selected RV sites may be offered for daily, weekly, or other short visits. Any RV site may be eligible for a three- to six-month stay, but only a site with one uninterrupted opening for the requested dates can be offered.

What RV site types are offered?

See RV Sites for the complete site comparison, photos, map links, and reservation path.

How do I know whether my RV will fit?

If your setup falls near a limit, contact the park with your RV type, total length, slides, tow vehicle, trailer, and any access questions before reserving.

What hookups and electrical service are available?

Utility and electrical details can differ by site category. Confirm the exact category shown in your booking result rather than treating one property-wide description as universal.

What stay lengths are offered?

Selected RV sites may be offered for daily, weekly, or other short-term stays when available. Any RV site may be eligible for a three- to six-month seasonal stay when the approved inventory calendar shows one uninterrupted opening for the requested dates. Availability for longer stays is limited, and the park must confirm the reservation in writing. Full-time residency uses the separate application and lease path.

Review Long-Term RV Living if you are looking for a lease-based residence.

Call (352) 900-5156 and choose option 4 if the search does not show what you need or you need more than six months.

Rates, payments, and policies

Where can I see current rates?

Current rate basis: Lakefront – $1,000 per month
Canal Front – $815 per month
Lakeview – $765 per month
Current rates as of August 24, 2026, plus electricity and any legally required taxes. Lakefront, Canal Front, and Lakeview are pricing categories, not current site availability. Availability and the complete written terms are confirmed by the park before payment.

Use Rates and Availability to search dates and review the current rate, taxes, fees, deposit, and total for an available option.

What deposit and payment terms apply?

Eligible three- to six-month stays are paid in full only after the park confirms uninterrupted availability and sends the written terms. Review the approved deposit, balance, and payment information before submitting payment.

Deposit and balance terms: No reservation deposit is required; an eligible seasonal reservation is paid in full only after the park confirms availability and sends the written terms, including any cancellation and refund terms.

What happens if I need to cancel or change a stay?

Read the complete current policies before paying. The policy shown during booking should agree with the published policy page.

What is the current pet policy?

Pet-friendly for ordinary pets. Maximum 2 pets per site; each pet must weigh 25 pounds or less. Notify management about pets before arrival. Dogs must remain on a leash no longer than 6 feet and under adult control; cats may not roam; pets may not be left outdoors unsupervised. Current vaccination tags and immediate waste cleanup are required, and aggressive ordinary pets are not accepted. Disability-related service-animal and assistance-animal questions are handled privately in accordance with applicable law.

Ask before bringing an animal if the approved policy does not clearly address your situation.

Lake access and long-term RV living

Can I bring a boat?

Boat access, slips, launching, trailers, and storage may have separate eligibility and limits. Review the current facts before bringing equipment.

Current lake-use eligibility: Boat slips are offered to guests staying at the park for $200 per month, subject to availability and confirmation by the park.

What are the long-term RV requirements?

Current long-term model: Long-term RV living is the park's primary RV offer. Approved residents complete a written lease before move-in. Short-term RV stays remain available through a separate reservation path.

Current eligibility: Any park site may be considered for full-time residency, subject to current availability, application approval, written site confirmation, and a completed lease.

Current review process: A $40 application fee applies per person. Applicants must pass criminal and credit screening and show gross household income of at least three times the monthly rent.

Current utility basis: Electricity is the only utility billed separately for full-time RV residents. The park bills each RV resident back for electric usage; the property uses well water and septic.

Speak with the park team before paying an application fee. See Long-Term RV Living for the dedicated inquiry and written lease process.

55+ manufactured-home sites

How is a manufactured-home site different from an RV stay?

A separate 55+ manufactured-home community with long-term lot leasing and its own inquiry, application, and approval path.

It uses a separate inquiry, eligibility, screening, availability, and application path. Do not use the RV booking search for a home-site request.

Who may qualify for the 55+ community?

Eligibility is reviewed under the park’s current approved rules. Ask how those rules apply to the proposed household before making a purchase or moving commitment.

Current eligibility: This is a separate 55+ manufactured-home community. Speak with the park team first about preliminary household and site fit. Formal eligibility is determined through the application and screening process, and applicants should wait for written approval before making a moving or purchase commitment.

Current application and screening process: A $40 application fee applies per person. Applicants must pass criminal and credit screening and show gross household income of at least three times the monthly rent. Speak with the park team first so the current opportunity and next step are clear before paying the fee.

Current utility basis: Electricity is the only utility billed separately. Manufactured-home residents establish and pay for their own electric service; the property uses well water and septic.

How do I ask about a home site?

Go to 55+ Manufactured Home Sites and speak with the team about current availability before applying. The approved online application link will be added after the park supplies it.

Can I express interest in a new park model or manufactured home?

Hide-A-Way Harbor Mobile Home and RV Park plans to add new park models and manufactured homes and is collecting interest from people who may want to purchase a new home and live on an eligible lot. Specific homes, seller, prices, financing, timing, and availability are not yet confirmed.

Use the Park Models & Manufactured Homes interest form. It is not a listing or guarantee of inventory, pricing, financing, an eligible lot, or delivery timing.
